Mohamed Kamal Abdel Hadi Abdel Halim Aka “Mohamed Abdel Hadi” is an Egyptian artist who started his career in 1995, in parallel to his study. Influenced by ancient Egypt, Persia, hieroglyphs, and mythology. His artworks seem to be born from a unique culture existing only in Mohammad’s dreamy mind, with its private language, heroes, and fables to be deciphered and interpreted. It is a classical link he has created with gods and beasts, great humor, extraordinary drama, and passionate love. Few artists achieve such original storytelling through their art.

He can transform poems by great poets into art pieces, including Afifi Matar, Mahmoud Darwish, Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab, and others. Concerns with what touches him in the Egyptian street, whether in the means of transportation, cafes, and other various places, translating them into highly accurate artworks using Acrylic on canvas.

Academic career

Abdel Hadi’s studies formed his unique artistic sense. In 1999, he had a Bachelor of Specific Education, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University 2001. He also worked as a teacher for a while, which allowed him to have creative abilities. He is also a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists.

Women presence

From his perspective, Abdel Hadi sees that women are the origin and beginning of life, and without them, life would be lost. Since the beginning of creation, God did not create Adam alone but created a partner for him, a lover, and a companion in his loneliness, so that life would be based on them together and not for one party without the other, which is the mother, sister, friend, beloved, lover and inspiring, and there is no art except that the woman has a role in it, she is inspiring in her movements, dwellings her childhood and innocence.

Artworks

Abdel Hadi participated in the Scrap Iron Forum and produced an artwork titled “Washing Rope” using scrap iron from longitudinal skewers as if he was drawing with a pen his artwork.

Exhibitions

Since his first exhibition in 2014, Abdel Hadi relied on inscriptions of the ancient Egyptian civilization, as well as the arts of the Persian civilization through black and white ink works in his drawing of figures in the style of miniatures and showing them as decorations.
